More levels added, reported bugs fixed


New content:

  • Three more levels.

Bugfixes and improvements:

  • Balls sometimes were hitting left and right walls almost in parallel with the floor, leading to long waits until they finally descend down. I’ve fixed that by detecting this situaion and adjusting the angle. The same applies to balls perpendicular to the ceiling.
  • Sticky bonus was sometimes grabbing the ball under the pad, which looked weird. Now it’s fixed and the ball only stick to the top of the pad.
  • Sometimes when we have multiple balls on the screen, some of them could have become slower because of the ball interactions. Then one could lose all the fast balls and be stuck with slow. I fixed that by automatically adjusting all ball speeds to the desired value.
  • Previously levels were not reset cleanly – the bonuses continued to fall and the ball continue with bricks from the new levels. Now I restart levels more cleanly by reloading the whole scene.
  • The gun has been nerfed: now its operation time is 3 seconds and its fire rate is also reduced.
  • Probabilities of bonuses/power-ups have also been reduced to make the game less chaotic and more challenging.
